Siblings bond despite autism
Siblings bond despite autism, Jackson Sun

Angela and Rolf Hazlehurst of Jackson have 8-year-old Yates, who is autistic, and a 5-year-old daughter, Sarah.
Sarah smiles when she talks about her brother, Yates.
She admits that as far as big brothers go, Yates can be sweet.
“When we swing, it’s the best thing,” she said.
Angela said Yates does take up a lot of her energy. But she and her husband try to make equal time for both children.
Sarah’s always wanted to be a part of her brother’s therapy and healing, Angela said.
