New Digital Thomas the Tank Engine Review …

Yesterday, I blogged about the new digital Thomas the Tank Engine, Thomas the Tank Engine goes Digital and gets a voice!
Today, I purchased it (along with some expansion track for our Thomas train set) and I must say that they maintained they look of the show to a tee. It looks great! Are there some supped up special effects that they could not pull of with the old stop motion technique? Yes. Is it a little odd to see the trains actually talking and to see their lips moving? Yes, unless you are a fan of Jay Jay the Jet Plane.
I really don’t think this will be much of an issue for ASD kids. I could be wrong, but it looks like the best Thomas ever in my less than expert opinion.
