First of all, WOW on the production value of this guy’s program. While the topic is a tad scary and conspiracy-ish, great site at JesseWoodrow.com.

Maybe if the Swine Flu Scare of 1976 and subsequent vaccine debacle had not happened, I would feel a tad bit more confident in the government’s response.
Maybe if I didn’t witness my child have multiple lengthy seizures right after we started the vaccines only to be told by a neurologist that “it’s probably just reflux!”, I would feel better about the mainstream doctors response.
Maybe if I didn’t live through the hype of Y2K …
Maybe if we dealt with the real autism epidemic that is ALREADY HERE today …
Maybe if the drug companies didn’t seem hell bent of maximizing profits by owning our politicians of all stripes, lock, stock and barrel. Creating many of the problems we deal with now, so they can give us a new drug to fix them later. Even if you don’t buy the Autism / Vaccine link, the stuff going on now with Gardasil shows how little they care as long as profits rise.

Maybe if I didn’t see a gazillion examples that the federal government is a) clueless b) ever-expanding, the idea of martial law wouldn’t sound even remotely possible. OK, I’m going to leave that one in the not remotely possible category. They couldn’t even drop water for people after Katrina until watching the situation on cable for five or six days. Not to mention the FEMA trailers debacle. Almost without exception, our interventions in foreign policy have been long term disasters that make things worse. I don’t see a bunch of bureaucrats being able to pull off some kind of swine flu martial law.
