She did not have any problems other than she was premature and was 4mos. old and weighed eight pounds. She was given all of her 4mo. old shots along with synagis. Before we left the dr.'s office she was asleep and only awoke to eat twice that night. My husband found her the next morning. After arriving at the ER with her in my arms, later found that the pediatrician ordered my baby back up from the morgue to have her examined for bruises~ the nerve!!! Before we could get home from the hospital with her the dr's office had called and left 5 messages wanting to know how she was acting after the shots. They sent a huge arrangement to the funeral of all pink flowers. We had to fight with the medical examiner who told me that "Babies dont die from shots". I have since had another child and just found out this year from a separate pediatrician that synagis should not be given with regular immunizations. I live in NC and the statute of limitations has expired for me. Two years is hardly enough time to figure out what happened to your child!!!!!!! It is unfair that her pediatrician missed this and that I have to live with this every day of my life and my family's life while the doctors and medical profession continues to ignore that there is a problem~Its almost impossible to break the code of silence that exists.....even when you have been wronged!!! My prayer is you be left to mend in private, that time brings you healing and peace and that sometime soon deaths like his do not slip through as statistical margins. The whole debate of vaccines can be daunting, its such a ’sacred cow’ topic, but as a parent its always a relief to find unbiased, well researched information. For anyone beginning this journey into uncovering your own truths for your own family, then I would recommend the “Well Adjusted Babies” website as an excellent place to begin…. Goodluck and great respect to all of you who seek to know, who respect free will and refuse to be herded into anything you believe may be unsafe for you or your beloved. Remembering that the responsibility of caring for a vaccine-damaged child lies with YOU, the parent(do not expect support, financial or otherwise from your GP, Specialists, Government or the Drug Company in question). It is important not to get caught up in ‘the debate’ where emotional temperatures rise so quickly, but to take your time, do your own research and know the decision you make CAN and very well may, have far reaching consequences. She was given several medications including vaccines.After 2 weeks she was released on bed rest. 11-18-08 A specialist performing his monthly ultrasound (He came once a month from 300 miles away) indicates Cameron Bruce, which was the smaller of our lovely twins, had a low heart rate and that if we didn't induce labor he was afraid he would pass away. He indicated if one passed away they normally both would. 11-19-08 Mother, Elizabeth, admitted to Rapid City Regional Hospital. 11-20-08 After given medications to induce labor (month before given medications to stop it) She birthed our IDENTICAL twin boys, Dalton Bruce who weighed 4 pounds even and Cameron Bruce who weighed 2 pounds 13 oz. Mid Dec 2008 Dalton released Mid Dec 2008 Cameron was still recovering from feeding problems, blood transfusion 1-4-09 Cameron given his 2nd Hep B shot although lost weight again from previous day 1-5-09 Cameron was released from the NICU by a reluctant Dr. Kovarik 1-5-09--within minutes of getting Cameron home he stopped breathing (2nd Hep B given 24 hours before). We should have taken him back to hospital but we were uneducated and the Dr told us before we left NICU that periodic breathing is normal and as long as he started breathing then everything would be ok. After approximately 20-30 seconds he started breathing and after monitoring we felt he was ok. week later was treated for first treatment for Thrush 1-15-09 treated for 2nd time (prescription even called in in the wrong twin's name). 1-15-09 also given Prevnar and Pentacel 3-in-1 Vaccines 1-25-09 Took Cameron in to Urgent care to Pediatric Clinic for poor feeding and weight gain problems 1-30-09 911 call made for stopped breathing 2-1-09 DSS took our surviving twin from us indicating the Medical Examiner indicates consistent with Shaken Baby/Head Impact 5-27-09 over 300 hours of research done by father (me). The Pediatrician and the N.I.C.U. doctor happens to be the same person with the 3rd position of Medical Examiner....
