Somali Autism Mystery?

Is there more autism in first generation US born Somali children in Minneapolis? If this turns out to be true, it would seem to have some serious implications and research opportunities on the cause of some autism cases.
said Dr. Stacene Maroushek of Hennepin County Medical Center’s pediatric clinic, “the impression that there’s an increasing rate of autism in the Somali community is definitely there. And people are wondering what’s going on.”
